When I bought my truck the booster/master cylinder had already been relocated under the cab. My brakes tend to tighten up when I drive my truck & I have no slack in my brake peddle.
I have done everything but change the booster/master cylinder. All my local auto parts stores around here can do a darn thing with out the year and make of your vehicle. How can I match a master cylinder to the after market one on my truck??

Its been a long time since I adjusted the one on my truck. But there should be an adjustment on that unit to take care of that problem. If I remember right there should be a threaded rod coming out the front of the booster, that you adjust your pedal travel with.If yours has that try adjusting it one way or the other til you get some free travel in your brake pedal.Hope this helps.

Mine tightens up some too, I've adjusted it so there's some pedal free play whenever it's hot. The master being under the floor and the heat generated by the drum brakes expand the components, making the pedal firm up.
