Seems when you stepped on the gas it bogged a bit before catching up. Turns out my #5 plug was extremely fouled out. A little more looking and the 5 wire was grounding out against the manifold. Plus... with the HEI ignition they never di-electric greased the wires. So its all new plugs and wires for her this week.

Most folks don't bother, but it is recommended to prevent spark "leakage" & to keep the boots from gluing themselves to the spark plugs. Nice to know it wasn't something too bad. The really bad thing is right after I wrote this, my Husband got a speeding ticket while testing it out after changing the plugs this morning. I am assuming the cop was a F*&% guy. :blat:
