Seems when you stepped on the gas it bogged a bit before catching up. Turns out my #5 plug was extremely fouled out. A little more looking and the 5 wire was grounding out against the manifold. Plus... with the HEI ignition they never di-electric greased the wires. So its all new plugs and wires for her this week.

Most folks don't bother, but it is recommended to prevent spark "leakage" & to keep the boots from gluing themselves to the spark plugs. It might look like hell, but it works.

Nice to know it wasn't something too bad. The really bad thing is right after I wrote this, my Husband got a speeding ticket while testing it out after changing the plugs this morning. I am assuming the cop was a F*&% guy. :blat:
