i'm not switching, but is it true you can just reblt a 67-72 3/4 rear end in a 47-53 3/4? i heard this one time and was just wondering

I believe you can remove the inner assembly(pumpkin) and it is a direct bolt in. Im not sure but I think the preload on the pinion bearing is critical to prevent premature failure. Maybe others with more knowledge will chime in but while you're waiting, do a search for "pumpkin swap" at search link above and you'll get more info than you ever wanted to know.

HEY GUYS I'M NEW TO THIS FORUM, I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE WOULD KNOW IF THERE IS A 5 ON 5 BOLT REAREND THAT WILL FIT INTO A 1963 CHEV C10 PICKUP WITH NO MODIFICATIONS.

shorty,a 1971-72 c10 will bolt in if you modify the panard bar.
