jmoore 'Bolter J Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 565 Hays county Texas	I believe you can remove the inner assembly(pumpkin) and it is a direct bolt in. Im not sure but I think the preload on the pinion bearing is critical to prevent premature failure. Maybe others with more knowledge will chime in but while you're waiting, do a search for "pumpkin swap" at search link above and you'll get more info than you ever wanted to know.
