I set the cab back on and it looks like a 4 wheel drive. the braces for the running boards are 16" off the floor. This can't be right.I don't think the engine and trans will bring it down that much. Does anyone have a bare frame to measure???? HELP :confused: :confused: :confused:

I just measured mine and the bottom of the running boards are 15" off the ground. Youd also be surprised how much those 6 cylinders weigh. Remember the fenders drop lower than the running boards and will drastically change the look and bring it down somewhat.

| | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 113 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 113 | popa, as far as I can tell from my paperwork, as far as the 3100 vs. 3104, 3100 is the series (1/2 ton) and the 3104 is the designation as far as body style. (p/u, panel, frame w/o box, etc.)
I may be wrong on this because I am still learning as I go. I am sure smarter people on here will correct me if I am. | | |
