yea, I'm sitll new but I have a question.

What's the differences in front fenders between 1947-2 and 1954? My 47 has a right fender that's all mangled and dinged up and was curious so I could get a correct replacement. Seems like the wheel cutout areas are different. Some big, some small.

To my knowledge, the fender will fit, but because the '54 uses a different grill, it will have a section near the parking light (54) that looks strange.

yep the fenders will fit the truck, but theres a sunken in place that will show. Also there are bolt holes in the front of it for the 54's grill and parking lite assembly

47 2nd series to 53 Chevrolet 1/2 ton to 1 ton pick-up and panel/suburban (front) fenders should interchange,

GMC fenders have a hole for the parking lights.

A '54 or '55 1st will have an indentation for the parking lights.

Trucks larger than 1-ton do have a larger wheel opening. If you're looking at a fender with a larger opening, its probably also longer and wider to fit a bigger truck.
