I went to the local junkyard Wed. and picked up a 235 out of a 57 truck to put in my 51. So today we pulled the tranny out of it, it is still stuck, after I got it out I finally got it out of 1st gear, just had to be able to get a swing at the punch to knock it out of gear. It is still stuck tight, bottom end is rusted up pretty bad, so I'll be making another trip back to the junkyard, he's got a good 4spd in a 49 1 1/2 ton. There's also a good gas tank in another cab, so I'll be bringing that home too. It's starting too look good for getting it up and running. Also got to spend some time with my son and another boy from the neighborhood. Always good to get to pass on a little mechanical knowledge to the younger generation. grin
