Haven't been here in while cuz I've been working on a track car project, but I just wanted to post up on my very slow progress.

I finally got my 53 Stepside stripped down and ready for media blast. I found an old school fabricator down here who is going to take my truck, blast it, then he and I will work on the body bit by bit. Along the way, I want to install an IFS and find an appropriate donor rear end. Once that's all done, I can bring my baby back home and find a nice small block to throw in there. I figure I still have a long long way to go especially with progress going so slow, but I'm still enjoying the project very much and can hardly wait to get this thing drivable...

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Once I get past the body shop and suspension mods, hopefully things will go a little smoother. I'm still learning alot here and I hope to have this thing running in a year, but we'll see.
