I've seen several companies, but they always show 1947 on up.
Who do you recomend? I need some small chrome strips for the hood and need a souce.

The Filling Station, Chev's of the 40's, Jim Carter's, and click on the link above to American Classics. Bow Tie bits, and a host of others all have parts for our trucks.
I think all listed above will have the chrome hood strips.
As far as other parts go, I have used em all...the only issue I have had with any of em is the rubber parts like grommets, door stops and the like.
Fiberglass was hit and miss too. My fiberglass floor was terrible but the fiberglass front headliner panel was great.

I also have used Chevs of the Forties . They seem to have a fairly decent selection. If you're looking for pre-bent steel brake lines for a 3/4 ton or larger, go with Classic Tube . The other vendors (or possibly THIER vendors) do not seem to have the patterns, and I was unable to provide a complete set for them to make them from. (The rear lines had deteriorated very badly.) I have several sets let me know if you are interested.
