Always get a 2nd opinion, especially if I am the source of the 1st opinion.

I was going to cut my riser out, but got worried about losing the rigidity of the floor, oilcanning etc. If I had cut out the existing riser, I would have had to build up some taller mounts for the seats that I have to work, anyway. So, I decided to leave the existing in, and put a plate and some re-inforcements under the seats.
