For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 200 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 200 | any one here ever use these Frames on their trucks. If so are they good? | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 662 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 662 | I haven't got the frame, but I have Bob's MII IFS and Proslip rear. 35000 miles, 4 season daily driving on fine Illinois potholes, gravel, and occasional smooth pavement, and they are holding up great. I'd vouch for their quality. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,971 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 1,971 | It looks good to me. Lots of crossbracing, boxed frame, complete or various stages to buy it in and lots of choices.
In "Classic Trucks" magazine there are lots of venders who make similar setups. You may want to ask for info from several dealers in the adds from a magazine like that before making the purchase. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 3 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 3 | I am looking for any and all info pertaining to putting a 52 complete skin (sheet metal) on a post 97 S-10. I know this is a popular way to go but have not done it yet, want to, and do not know anyone who has.
I have complete shop, brake, roller, etc and my partner is a expert-expert welder. both of us have lots of experience restoring and street rodding trucks, both Chevvy and the others and could do this from scratch but sure would like to know of a manual, drawings or conversations with someone who has done it before SUCCESSFULLY!
