Well here are the first shots of the 46 I have to work with. By what I see on here this was one of the first requiremnts of owning a Stovebolt.

Very nice. Looks fairly complete and strait.

Tried starting it yet? I have a 46 1 ton that was sitting for 20+ years that started after a little encouragement.

Welcome and have fun. This is a great place to find answers

Cavebull,

Very nice looking 46! Other than your running boards, all of your steel looks nice and straight. Is the engine free?

You have a lot of truck to work with. Very nice starting point. Continue to take the pics as you go. The progress will be fun to watch.

That is a good looking truck. What are you plans to update or modify? I have lots of plans but no progress. You guys are getting me motivated. Maybe I could knock the dust off her and get back to work. Too bad it's 100 degrees here.

Welcome Cavebull. You will find lots of help here.

Great ol' '46, Cavebull.

What are ya gonna call him, "B" (for bumblebee) or something much better than that!

Ol' trucks just gotta have a name, but take it slow. Yer truck will acquire its name over time as you and he git to know each other.

Drivin' down a 2 lane country road in a stovebolt.....cowboy, it don't get no better than this!
