With the launch of our new webstore I wanted to extend a 10% off coupon for Stovebolt Members.

Classic Parts is offering Stovebolters a 10% discount on orders placed on the Internet thru Saturday June 24th.

Just go to http://www.classicparts.com and click on the " Enter our Online Store " button, to see the new web store.

After adding an item to the shopping cart you can put in the following code to receive 10% your order: stovebolt

There are a very small number of items that are not eligible for the discount ...
Mustang II suspensions kits, Master pack A/C kits, special order items, etc. But with over 11,000 part #'s in our warehouse, there are less than 30 items that won't be discounted.

I tell ya Robert I was so mad the other day!

I had bought a window vent knob for my 59 Apache and I was not aware of the pin or spring that is needed for installation.

So the item showed up and i found out that it was not complete. I called to ask where is the rest of the vent handle. the person told me that this was the item and the pin was sold seperate. I was
mad that the Order Taker did not inform me of this small piece of information. So for a 0.45 cent item Classic Parts is going to loose my business. (thats Sad) frown

Cliff,

I'm sorry that you didn't get all that you needed to replace your vent handle. We sell them separately for a number of reasons. Sometimes there is nothing wrong with the handle itself and it just needs a new pin or washer. And honestly...its hard for us to know what customers want or need...I don't want our order takers to start suggesting items that they think you might need and get in the habit of up selling or coss selling items. I don't know about you but it really bothers me when I'm placing an order for something and they start tying to sell me or suggest other things to me to increase the sell.

Did you order from our catalog? Right underneath the Vent Handle it shows the spring washers, the vent handle roll pin, and the vent handle pivot spring as being sold separately.

It's really not that big of an issue..if you would like I would be glad to drop them in the mail today for you at no charge.

Wow... Robert thats more than I expected! I called
back the day I got the handle, and the person on the phone did not give me the impression that he cared one way or another about my problem.

You are a stand up kind of guy!
Ill take you up on that offer, and I will not forget your kindness. smile
