Pull on the fan. Or put the trans in high gear & push the truck back & forth watching the fan. Or get underneith & remove the flywheel cover & pry on the flywheel with a large screwdriver. It is possible the starter is stuck engaged in the flywheel. If these ways don,t free it up remove the starter & try again.
