on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 15 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 15 | I am removing the front clip from my 67. I have removed the top bolts from the rear of the fenders. I have removed the 1 bolt at both rear corners and I have removed the 1 bolt on each of the bottom corners. I have removed the bumper so that the lower splash panel will not hang up. What am I missing? I can not seem to get her to come off. There are two bolts on each corner down by the cab support but I have no idea how to get at the heads as the nut side is facing out. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 3,068 | There's a bolt that connects the inner fenders to the cab. You remove them from the tire side of the fender liner, Scott | | | | | Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 15 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 15 | Thanks for the help. I was getting frustrated so I had to stop for the day. I will pick it up again tomorrow with my new information. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 154 Member | | Member Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 154 | did you unbolt it from the radiator support? or do you plan on taking that with the front clip.
theres about 4 or 5 bolts on each side, bolting the fenders to the rad support. or, just take the radiator out, and unbolt the rad support, that, coupled with the inner fender bolts, should let you get it all out.
i've messed with alot of fenders...bolts appear out of EVERYWHERE it seems.
good luck!
