I'm using the 283's old ram horns, should I use the heat riser too? How important is the heat riser? | | | | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 363 Member | Member Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 363 | Make sure its working if you use it. If you're gonna use your truck in the winter, its nice, but not necessary. It theoretically improves mileage and keeps fuel from puddling, too. I'd probably use it if it worked. | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 83 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 83 | Thanks 4.3, I guessed it wasn't necessary, just wan't to make sure before I put the exhaust on. | | |
