Look at the difference in price for these two gas caps. One just has a logo etched into it.

I bought the more expensive one before I saw the cheaper one.

Let me know what you all think.

i have the cool cap installled and you are correct they look identical except for the logo. the think i hated was to pay 59.00 for the flanger to use once, then what. i did not have to use the flanger but it was the look that i wanted. a fool and his money is soon parted. ron.

I had to laugh when I saw that "cool cap". As an ocean boater,I instantly recognized the familiar cast stainless deck fitting sold under brand names such as "Sea-Dog" and "Victory".

Someone just mills a logo on it and doubles the price.

These are among many cast SS items that come from the far east. Many seem to be from Thailand.

Don't feel bad, though, boaters have many "paid too much" stories grin

What really makes me mad is that I don't even like the palm tree logo that is etched on it by coolcap.

Similar to the Dolphin gauges that I see. I like the way they look but I live in Colorado. I don't want a dolphin theme in my truck.

Live and learn on the gas filler.
