The gaskets, more like a washer I guess, go around the fill/drain plugs. I've taken all four apart and cleaned them up really good. The service manual recommends using new ones.

You can make a hole punch by grinding down a piece of pipe the proper size and whack it with a hammer. lead cuts easily. | | |
