For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 107 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 107 | Has anyone used "Superior Chrome Plating" www.JustChromeIt.com I got a quote from them to replate my 46 grill both pieces for $450-$500. They are out of Texas in case that helps. If it is much more I am considering getting a repo from Jim Carter or one of the others. Thanks in advance

I think he's affiliated with them somehow, Scott | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | you might check for some quotes closer to home! You should be able to find a good one where you live. That harley suggestion is good, but I tried that here in Oklahoma, and there answer was "no one". So it may not give you the answer you hope for. | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Stay away from Superior Chrome. I'm one of several people on this board who had parts damaged by them. And yes, Superior Chrome in Austin, TX is the brother of Rodney Baker. Has he moved to Austin? He was in Houston when he screwed up my hood bird. His name is Bobby Baker. He's bad news. | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: May 2001 Posts: 7,438 | Here\'s the thread about my ordeal. Read all of it.
