I used a lil' WD40 lifted the opposite side than the arm while using a small screwdriver to hold the clip side outwards. I had to walk away atleast once. When the clip began to move and I could get it above the smooth area into the wider area of the "whatchamacallit", it started to work outwards. Once over the lip I wiggled it off. I think the WD40 helped and working that clip a bit also got it loosened up. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | They make a tool that works backward from pliers that really helps in removing wiper arms. Usually on a "Help" or KD rack at the bigger parts stores and not real pricey. One trick we use is to use a bondo spreader to pry a screwdriver against because it will cushion the paint job a lot better that masking tape or shop towel.
