Those are pretty nice photos. I would be interested in knowing what wheels you are using and what size of tire. It looks like you started out with some pretty straight and clean sheet metal.

Truckernix - The wheels are polished aluminum 8 lug 16.5x9.75 with BFGoodrich 33x12.50 tires, set on 1.75" aluminum spacers to clear the steering gear.
Everyone is lowering their trucks into the weeds these days, so I decided to go the other way!

thanks for that info. It gets to stand nice and tall like with the original wheels. I saw a 3600 with American Racing wheels, 16" that appeared to fit on the front. Howdid you install those blockhugger headers and use the original steering gearbox? Did you have to move it over just a tad or what? I went with a later model manual box and a 70's camaro tilt column.
Cliff59 - Yes, I'm planning to take it to Old Town (right outside Disneyworld for those of you who don't know about Old Town's weekend cruises) when it's finished. I try to make it up to Old Town for the Saturday night cruise at least once every month or two. | | |
