I personally think that the 15x8 Chevy truck rally wheels look the best on this series trucks. 3 inch stainless trim rings and a nice set of Bridgestone or Dunlop 255-70R15 raised white letters make for a sweet looking ride.

17 or 18" Torq thrust II's wrapped in fresh bfg rubber. yeah mmmhmm. Anyways, my buddies 64' has some old 6-lug rally wheels on it. Ya need to make sure that the titan wheels are the right bolt pattern. To get the bolt pattern, measure (in inches) the distance(on 6-lug) between two lug nuts that are opposite each other. The bolt pattern will be "6(meaning 6 lug) on (your measurement)". ex. "5 on 4 and a half". You may already know that, but its here just in case. Oh yeah, the titan wheels might be metric. Hope them purdy wheels fit. I'm out.

I don't think the old Chevy brakes are up to the task of stopping them 18" wheels myself. That's a lot more centrifical force than they are used to,
Scott

Does anyone know of a good source to find Chevy rally rims? I have a 65 4x4 and have heard that the mid 80's rims look really nice... bad part is I have tried several local salvage yards and most of the good rims are already gone... is there an aftermarket dealer and/or manufacturer that is a good place to look?

thanks in advance

Be careful... your truck might reject those foreign wheels whilst you are driving down the turnpike.

Another quality post.
