If your caps just cover the lugnut area, then you probably need to have those "square root" tabs, too.

The later caps fit outside the center ring, fitting over 3 ears that protrude from the center section. FYI, the last set of 15" 6 bolt wheels I bought cost $100.

Check local junk yards, mom and pop tire shops, classified section of the local paper, and of course the Stovebolt Swap Meet section periodically.. they always seem to pop up at any or all those places with some frequency.

Unfortunately in high density areas like I live (Chicago), old stuff is impossible to find. Junk yards don't have anything older than about '80, and tire shops won't sell you anything (if they've kept them) because they're scared of liability.

Brian You may consider expanding your search a bit in your area.. Rockford, Rosco, S. Beloit.. places like that. I'll bet you could find a set cheap less than 2 hours out.. but then you'd have the drive time, etc. If you can't find them locally, don't have the time to go get 'em, and have the bucks to just nab 'em off eBay at a premium price, then by all means snag those. I have seen 'em sell cheaper on eBay, tho.
