It has 18" split rims. The local tire guy says he will investigate but thinks there are only about two options for tread patterns on the 18x700 rims.
Any suggestions on tires, manufactures, prices... would be appreciated. I use the truck for getting wood and hay. Don't really need off-road tires but it is a consideration for Northwest Montana.

My local tire guy has called 5 or 6 places and all he finds is one ribbed street tire available. I am more interested in a traction tire.
Anyone have a contact for an 18" traction tread type tire? | | |

The 'Goat uses 11.00-18 NDT (military lug) 6 ply tires. Try Jack Tomlin in Tooele, Utah at 435-882-0420 or Larry Johnson in Ogden, UT at (801)731-1120. Last I knew they had a large quantity of them from $65 to $90 each. | | |

One is Miller Tire , website is down right now. Also Lucas Automotive in Long Beach, CA. 800-952-4333. Both list 18" tires in their ads, don't know if either has a traction tread.

One thing though, I kind of like a larger sized wheel on a 1-ton dually - if its possible. I wonder if going to a 19 or 20 inch might work.
