Although the trip was awesome, the getting there and back was barely worth it. I see also, there's a bunch of reading ahead of me, so I had better get to it. To add to my "have a Happy Thanksgiving" thread, we did have a Bermuda-ized Thanksgiving there, which was nice, and my folks are having a Thanksgiving dinner for us tonight, bless them for that. As I said, I came back sunburnt and fatter so it was a good vacation but reality sets back in tomorrow, so I had better get prepared for it, See ya around the 'bolt pages, Scott | | | | | Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Oct 2002 Posts: 4,066 | Glad to see you back,,nothing like being at home,,,go out and run around the block, then work on your truck and you might be less fatter,,it is easier said then done,,,Fred Redryder pixMy HotrodA veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of "up to and including my life."I am fighting cancer and I am winning the fight | Pain is part of life; misery is an option. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 476 Moderator | | Moderator Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 476 | Yeah, Welcome Back Scott.
I went and looked at the '88 with the 454 today. I was going to drive it out there but I can't get it until he straightens out the title. Seems he never transferred the title from Ontario when he moved to Iowa, they just somehow allowed him to register it.
Sigh, I've waited over a year for this truck, I guess a few more days won't kill me.
By the way, the wife went out there with me in case I needed to drive it home. She was really decent about it. The only sign that she was not 100% on board was that she turned over the prayer she keeps taped to the glove box door of her Blazer. She turned up the side that is a prayer to take away pride.
