OK, I have a question...
When I go to mount my cab back onto the frame, what kit do I need to buy?
American has two kits one with just the wooden blocks and some bolts...
http://www.americanclassic.com/images/cb206.gif
And one with wooden blocks and bolts with rubber and springs...???

Since I didn't dismantle the cab from the frame myself I don't know what to buy...
Any help out there???

I could be wrong, but I thought the wood blocks, rubber pads and bolt were for the bed, not the cab.

Kevin - Your 40 is going to be like my 46. you need the bolts, wood blocks, rubber pads and springs. Most of the vendors have a kit for the cab mounts. Also check the tech tips there is a good artical on the cab mounts for the 41-46.

Good Luck

George, That's the ticket! I should have checked the Tech Tip first.
I now know I need all the little parts... rubber, springs, bolts, washers, bushings, etc.
Thanks to Randy for the sketches, that helps alot!

Rusty, thanks for the tip - I was thinking about making non-wood blocks in either rubber or polyurethane.
