i have the seat frame, springs and adjustors for my seat, i know the seat back slides into the slots on the seat frame, an then screws to the top rail.

but how dose the bottom attach to the seat frame? would have thought it bolted to the adjustors but i dont think so...dose it just sit in the rails? ????????

on my 54 you slide the back in then push down on the front to latch it in place. ron

Mine seat goes the other way front in first and back last . On the front are to u clips that slide on to the frame this prevents the seat from moving forward. You slide the seat onto the frame then push the rear in, its snug and you have to give it a good push but it works. Peter

I agree w/ Petmil, the seat on my '49 3100 goes in the same way, 2 U clips in the front and then a snug push in the back keeps it all good.

i'm w/ we B
my 51 bottom fits in, back slides in b-low the top cushion and has two (or3) short curved hooks that after you push back a little thaey hook around the front bottom frame tube.

HINT::: HINT::: smile smile grin grin in an AD cab

if you want MORE storage room in the cab, cut away the front floor skirting.
i left about a 12'' wide riser in the middle. which means i cut/sawed (skilsaw) two pieces right under the two riders legs, that's about 18'' wide, down to the floor.
this allows you to gain access under the seat w/out lifting the bottom seat up.
IT'S very convienent grin grin

The adjustable rails bolt to the seat risers back by the cab mount bolts behind the riser and then to the platforms in the front corners of the riser.

The seat frame bolts to the rails.

The Bottom Cushion is held in with clips and can lift out. Some people put a hinge in the bottom to open it and more easily use the base as a storage compartment.

The Back Cushion clips to the bottom (tabs in slots) and clamps with screws to the top frame.
