but how dose the bottom attach to the seat frame? would have thought it bolted to the adjustors but i dont think so...dose it just sit in the rails? ???????? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2001 Posts: 4,095 | on my 54 you slide the back in then push down on the front to latch it in place. ron

On the front are to u clips that slide on to the frame this prevents the seat from moving forward. You slide the seat onto the frame then push the rear in, its snug and you have to give it a good push but it works. HINT::: HINT::: in an AD cab if you want MORE storage room in the cab, cut away the front floor skirting. i left about a 12'' wide riser in the middle. which means i cut/sawed (skilsaw) two pieces right under the two riders legs, that's about 18'' wide, down to the floor. this allows you to gain access under the seat w/out lifting the bottom seat up. IT'S very convienent

The seat frame bolts to the rails.
The Bottom Cushion is held in with clips and can lift out. Some people put a hinge in the bottom to open it and more easily use the base as a storage compartment.
The Back Cushion clips to the bottom (tabs in slots) and clamps with screws to the top frame.
