It did not come with any method of attaching it. The handle has two smooth plastic studs that protrude about 3/16” into the inside of the ash tray. What am I supposed to do with these? Some kind of push on clip?? You should be able to get them at your favorite hardware store. I'm sure youve seen them, they are just a rectangular piece of metal with a hole, usually used with sheet metal screws. I think they are called speed nuts, but not sure.

That's what I used on mine.
