| | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 10 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 10 | I'm a rookie at this. Probably everybody has taken the floor out of their cab for some reason. My truck's floor has been loose since I got it and it's rusted top and bottom, so I want to pull it out and paint it. Somehow I had the idea that that floor was going to come out without starting another hound first, but it sure looks like the hand brake lever has got to come off to do it. The brake lever is too far under the dash to let the floor out. The brake lever pivots in an assembly down below with three goodsized bolts holding a forged piece over it. Is there anything special I should know before I pull that apart? Will the floor come out some other way?
