I can not get any brand of disc to stay an the pad for very long. It feels like every 2-3 minutes, the disc goes flying across the room. I have tried three brands including Norton.
Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to the pad to get the discs to stay on better, yet be able to remove them without to much difficulty?
This is my first DA sander, is this typical for this tool?

I have found that discs usually fly off the tool when you let it freewheel. Even with ROLOC's. Try having the tool applied to the work before actuating it.

The sander I am using is brand new so I am wondering if I need to get a good cleaner and clean the heck out of the pad. Maybe it has some kind of coating on it that doesn't hold the disc.
