Did anyone attend this Show? We tried it out the first 2 years of the "Jamboree", it was just to HOT and too LOUD for our group. I know they had over 1500 trucks registered.

My impression exactly- - - - -I made my one and only trip there some time ago. I just thought a flight line full of B-52s was noisy back in the 1970's!

I attended the show and it was HOT! We were parked in the shade away from all the noise so all in all it was good show. There were 1630 trucks registered, who knows if they were all there but there was a lot of trucks and several older trucks scattered about.

Although the show itself was not a pleasant time, the after show gatherings were great.
The first time the wife and I shared a cabin with Jerry then the second time I was solo and shared a cabin with Jerry and Alvin that ended up with late night talks about our past adventures. Most of them I can’t tell to young person about what we did. They would not beleave us anyway.

Don, I had forgotten that second trip- - - -I don't think I even attended the show. I do remember slow-smoking two pork butts on the front porch all night, that had the whole cabin area drooling! The after-show meal was great- - - -pulled pork BBQ and Jay's magic show. Good times for sure!
