My name is Dean and I am from Perth Western Australia, about 6 months ago I bought a 1950 3100 barn find that I think was a Californian truck. I found an old Californian number plate and also there was Walnut shells scattered throughout the truck ( I have been told that California is a large producer of Walnuts ? ) Once I work out how, I will post some pics

Hey, wait a minute. From a California walnut farm to Western Australia? It seems like there might be a story that youโre not including. Hint hint
Well Paul, the story goes that a guy from Victoria ( on the eastern side of Australia ) imports vehicles and parts and then sells them on. I saw it on Marketplace and reached out to him and after a few conversations I bought it sight unseen. At bit risky you might say, but he was 3500 kmโs away so I had to put my faith in him that he was an honest guy and telling me as much as he could about the condition of the truck. I figured that he would be doing the right thing and that this was his business so there was his reputation to think about.
So a couple of weeks later the truck made its way across the paddock on the back of a Dodge Ram car hauler that the guy I bought it off had organised, he also had on a Holden Maloo ute that was being delivered a couple hours south of me. The guy was then picking up a Helicopter and taking it to Queensland which is about 4500 kmโs away.
