The News Corner this week is a salute to St. Paddy's Day. But the focus is "Don't Press your luck!" and Shop Safety. But, how can we have St. Patty's Day without some pictures of GREEN Stovebolts. Post yours here.

These are great. Thanks for sending them. Just switched up the News Corner image to Handy Andy's 1947 Chevrolet 3100 AD ("Little Eddie"). Shoot, a few more "greenies" we may need to do a "Green with Envy" Stovebolt calendar.

These are really great submissions. Thank you all. John and I were talking about it this morning. We've GOT to make a calendar or in the very least a big poster. For now, we've got cmayna's up there in the News Corner. Besides being green, it's good to have a Working Bolt.
Twin Jimmys, have you got a picture with the truck out of the garage?

Yes. The only one I could find when posting had my family in the picture as well. I know I have the truck on the street by itself. I will find it and post it.

Wanted to add Jim Schmidt's 1953 Chevy 3804 from his DITY Gallery thread. Plenty of other shots there worth checking out.

Peggy: I'm not sure I'm doing this right. Fix it if need be.
Green truck.
My Mom's grandfather was born at The Hill, Barrafohona, County Cork, Ireland on 3-17-1862 (St. Patty's Day). He immigrated with his family to middle Illinois when he was 6 years old. My Dad claimed to be of Irish descent, but didn't have the records to back it up.
I guess that makes me a green guy.

Fersure, Tim! You did good Bill. That's a fun story and a great photo. Twin Jimmys ... how many GMCs do you have? Some of US can be GREEN with envy!! LOL

Peggy, My fleet just got thinned down a bit. The patine truck I posted was just sold last week so I am down to 3 again. Only one green one. The second truck that I recently posted was a an all original barn find that was sold at auction a few years ago. Unfortunately I was a couple days late in finding out about the sale. I captured all the pictures I could as reference and inspiration. I sure wish mine was that nice. But hey, it's green!

Is this green enough? There's a little in the rainbow. Sorry Peggy, I couldn't help myself.

Hey! I'm happy. A rainbow is considered a lucky event, isn't it? Great FULL rainbow at that! Beautiful
