My ‘47 AD 3100 never had a jack. But I am interested in seeing the original type jack that came withe the truck new.

I’m thinking today most likely used is a bottle jack placed under the seat for storage? Would seem easily stored under the seat.

Anyone have a picture of an original or close?

Am I correct in assuming a bottle jack is the best/logical answer for use and storage? Or there a better alternative?

I think it was a bottle jack that was.a screw type like the one posted but not certain ,I should look at my owners manual on my 54 a see if it shows in there.

Original or not, that's what I have under my truck seat. Also my garage has a nice similar designed Toyota 4-runner bottle jack which gets used way more often than the truck's bottle jack.

I like carrying the small trolley jack. Small. Easy to use unless of course your going all original.i have small trolly jack in my Silverado and the car.....a long with an 18 inch pull bar with a deepset socket. Sure has come in handy more than once and not expensive.

The previous photo is exactly what we received with our ‘51 1/2 ton we bought in the mid ‘70’s from the original owner.

The jack and jack handle in fonz8261's picture match what came with my Grandpa's '51 3100 when it became mine.

The above pic does make me think more about going under the seat just to make sure I have the lug wrench sleeping there.....
