Is there a procedure to installing the drive shaft? Mine has (2) due to being a 6400. Also, are the U-joints for the 2-tons a hard-to-find part or are they pretty much a standard part?

Yours should be Spicer 1350 series.
I think Spicer makes the best (strongest and long lasting) u-joints, and they don't cost much more than the cheap ones.

This is called being in phase. Line all u-joints up. Being out of phase can cause drive line vibrations. | | |
