These are some great pics of your Trucks! I need more though, especially from some of our members that don't post to often. If you have contact with some other BOLTER's please let them know about posting pictures of the Pride and Joy.

When you said southern bolters my eyes perked up, he means me because I was born south of the Mason and Dixon line. dance

I know I’m technically not a Southern Bolter, but I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with a couple, like Alvin and Craig. And I do have a good memory that is now part of your community, with the name of Thor. And since I enjoyed looking at all your trucks, I thought it would be ok to post Doughboy.

Best wishes to all you Southern Bolters for a healthy and rewarding 24!

Thanks Craig.

It’s interesting that the many people that advise me to polish Doughboy are not around to maintain that mirror shine when the time comes 🤪

But when I was preparing it for Winchester in September I did polish the nameplate in the front. It just reinforced my position that I’m just fine the way it is and having a vision of how it would be is ok with me.😉

Took the truck our for a spin and had a chnace to use the vacuum wipers in a good ole Florida Rain storm. Needed gas, stopped by Ford's Garage to show them a real truck grin and then swung by Margaritaville.

Well we have another addition to the fleet. this is actually supposed to be my Bother in Laws, it a 1951 GMC 250 1 Ton. The truck has 58K on it with the original 228 , 4 speed and 5:12 rear. We made a turn and burn to Racine Wisconsin to bring this Baby home. My BIL is the second owner.

Craig,

Is your BIL a Bolter yet? wink You'll have to ask him to post a little bit about his new 1-ton, in Welcome Centre or at least in Tons o' Fun. Or both, if he's a newbie. Wonder if GMC belonged to a Bolter. Any idea? (Always fun to follow the history of a truck ... especially when it is from one Bolter to another. We've had quite a few of those stories. thumbs_up)
