The dates for the 2024 SMOKY MOUNTAIN NATIONALS in Townsend TN are 31 May thru 1 June. There will be more information coming about the show and our 4th Annual Southern Bolters "Jamboree ".

https://www.facebook.com/groups/smokymountainnationals/

While this is primarily an AD Show, Dave has set aside an area just for the Stovebolt Group. We can display whatever series Truck we bring in our area. So please don't think you need a AD Truck to join in on the fun. thumbs_up

As it sits right now, Vicki and I plan on attending again. It’s a great time and makes for a good vacation.

Written lightly in pencil on a calendar that exists only in my brain.

I strongly suspect that the weeks leading up to that will be filled with other family commitments and make it tough. Sure would like to come, however. Townsend is awesome and the Smokeys are better still.

May I suggest y’all looking into Little Arrow Resort. Owned by some family of a church friend of ours. Neat place. Books up fast. Might already be.

Have had my reservations at the Highland Manor Inn since summer. It will take a lot to keep me from going.
Looking forward to seeing more trucks there.

Had a conversation with Jordan (JDL) last evening and he is planning to come......at one time, years ago, I believe he was one of the youngest bolters we adopted! Glad he's coming.

Looking forward to a good size group of Bolters. I hope we can have plenty of Trucks at the show, Dave is very accepting about our Trucks not all being AD's.

Just checked again and the Highland Manor Inn is sold out that weekend. Tremont Inn is right next door and looks like they have some rooms left yet?

Folks, get your lodging reserved SOON!

To all, I have been pinging back a forth with Dave Hoque. He said there are a 150 plus Trucks registered for the Show this year. He is excited about the turn out so far and how much chatter is going on at the Facebook page.

If you haven't yet please check out the links above. As Don mentioned lodging is going fast. The "Southern Bolters" HQ is registered now thumbs_up

Wayne, you can pre-register here᠁ https://form.jotform.com/233544738244157

There is more information on their Facebook page. Just do FB search for Smoky Mountain Nationals.
Hope this helps.

This is shaping up to be a great gathering. Dave and the show staff are very accommodating to our group, we have our own area set aside for Stovebolt trucks and canopy.

Last year I promised Archie I would have a truck at Jamboree the next year. I just didn't say what Truck.. Currently it's looking like "Thor" will be the one making the journey, Linda's '60 is still in the repair mode and Ernest the '59 is still in pieces. I know that this is an "AD" event, I just don't happen to have an AD. "Thor" is a true Stove Bolt 235 though.
