If you ever can't get new cylinders, or just want some to last forever, have the old ones stainless steel sleeved. DON'T mess with brass sleeves.

The guy to have stainless sleeve your cylinders is:
Mark "the machinist" Frappier
82 Mountianview St.
Agawam, MA 01001
413-789-4588, or 800-528-5235

You send him your bare, stripped, clean cylinders, and he sends them back with a perfect looking stainless insert.
You will still need to go to NAPA and get rebuild kits, or perhaps Jim Carter sells kits?

I just got a really nice set of linings from my local Catco truck center. There Federal Mogul brand.Curved, drilled, etc. Including rivets and a little shipping it cost me $75. I riveted them on myself and they have been the best liners I have ever worked with. Good Luck!

For that much money on the master you will be better off having the old one sleeved. Or a new dual circuit master and bracket.

Hey guys this comes up all the time with our Bigbolts, parts suppliers that have parts and don't even know it. How about we start a thread that cross references part numbers, as we find new ones we can add to it. It is amazing how many times we get told that is an obsolete part to find out later it is still used on some obscure vehicle today. Sure would be nice if we could do our parts shopping armed with 2 or 3 part numbers.

Can somebody that's good with things like that take this idea and run with it? I would but I am computer and organizationally challenged.

3B has the first number there (thanks 3B) and I remember not to long ago some wheel bearing numbers here somewhere.

I think we would have a good start by just rounding up the numbers that have already been posted and forgotten right here on the Bolt.

Hy guys, I found an old catalogue with a wheel cylinder number which I crossed succesfully to a Napa number UP3677 $81.29, it won't hurt to ask if there are any still available, hope that helps.

Grigg,
Stainless steel sleeving sounds like a hot upgrade. Do you recall the cost ?

I don't recall the prices, you should call Mark and ask. I do remember that the stainless sleeving is often cheaper than what new cylinders cost for older vehicles.
I think that the stainless sleeving is a great deal and value, and not at all over priced.
