Just joined the Stovebolt site in November.
I purchased my 51 half ton in May. I have found a lot of useful information on the site.
The truck is really solid as it came out of Simi Valley ,CA..
I having a blast working on it. My first stovebolt. One picture is as of today after I was done working on it. The other is when I brought it home.

1962 C10 with a 235 6cyl -- all of the drive train seems to be original. Some of this story is in the Side Lot Some people like a new truck. I liked the old ones.
Welcome and thanks for sharing pictures of your truck! You have clearly made a lot of progress in just a few months. Looking forward to seeing and hearing more.

Thanks guys . I have been taking pictures every time im done working on it for the day. What you can see in the current picture of the seacrest green paint i believe is the original paint. Ive been documenting details as I find them. A few weeks back when I was stripping paint off the fender brackets I noticed the manufacture tool marks still visible on the brackets. I found that to be interesting. Maybe im just easily amused!

As soon as we get 3 dry days together here in north central PA my cab and frame are off to get sprayed. I finished striping the firewall and got it primed. Thought about spraying it myself. But I have a friend who has a body shop and he said bring it over. Saving me the mess in my shop. Already needs a good cleaning from cleaning patts and removing paint.

Crummy, You should consider starting a thread in the DIY Gallery Link We'd like to follow along on your build, and the DIY Gallery is the spot for that.
The Welcome Centre is mainly for introductions and such.
Thanks for sharing your info.
