Welcome welcome!!

Welcome to the site and to the hobby! In my experience, 1-ton owners are generally smarter, better looking, quite erudite and have a certain suave je ne sais quois about them smile

So you should fit right in!

Be sure to check out our site and don't hesitate to ask questions. As we say around here, there are no dumb questions. There *are* dumb answers, however, but we'll try to help you avoid those!! smile

Looking forward to seeing pictures of your truck and hearing more about it.

Happy holidays!
John

Welcome to the both of you. Yes, they are a lot of work, usually. Just be sure to visit whenever you need help, all the info is here somewhere. Even a forum specifically for one tons. Please post up some pics when you get a chance, not all 1955s are the same, you have either a first or second series truck.

Welcome to the Stovebolt. This is the best place to discuss and learn about older GM trucks. Glad you found us. John

Welcome to Stovebolt! Looking forward to seeing pictures of your truck, in what ever state of condition it may be. Posting the beginning pictures can help in lots of ways, plus give a sense of accomplishment when you compare later in-progress and finished project pictures. Many will say the most fun is the journey along the way! grin

Is your '55 a first series Advance Design or is it a second series Task Force?
