Try wiggling the rear of the trans in a circular motion while pushing it forward to see if you can get it to go. If you disengage the clutch now, the disc will fall from the weight of the trans and be even further off.

I didn't mess with the clutch at all. And it took two of us -- one guy wiggling the tranny (me) and the other guy trying to get the bolts in and started on the topside.
Keep at 'er -- you'll get it!
