Here's my latest Stovebolt Hauler. It's not that old, but it did qualify for the ATHS Truck Show last Month in Greensboro, N.C. 1995 GMC Topkick, C7500, with Holmes MD616 Wrecker on it's back. 3116 Cat Diesel, Allison automatic transmission. Former Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) unit.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.

That brings back memories, I had some seat time in TopKicks, we used them for city delivery in the beer business. The 3116 had plenty of torque although we never ran any automatics, all 6 speeds. I also miss the OTR driving, the 318 Detroit with the 10 speed was my favorite tractor. Very nice truck Spanky.

My Wife is Happy now. I have two Big Bolts that are automatics now (this one, and the big Titan Cabover), that she can drive.

Very Nice Spanky, and looks very clean for a 1995 model. Have ever thought of starting a Wrecker service?
