It has been almost two years and health is causing me to sell off all of my stovebolt inventory. I even sold my 54 3100 for $36,500.00 unfinished. I have all the parts that need to be put on but, the next owner will take care of that.
I had the pleasure of owning my little buddy for 47 years. Restored twice (once after massive damage). It is sad and difficult to let him go but, it is time to let someone else enjoy.
I'm still in Kissimmee, FL and I have a lot of unpacking of stovebolt items to sort. I just don't have the strength to put up with these over 100 degree days this summer. I'm a Florida Cracker but I want to try being a snowbird. I really enjoy the cooler weather and my ancestral home, Peoria.
I may be posting this in the wrong place, bare with me and I'm sure it will come back.
Some off my items I want to donate the sales to Stovebolt.
I'm a diehard when it comes to my Rochester B's. I have found in the past that most of the serious problems that occur after rebuild is warped casings. I have seven that have been meticulously rebuilt but dang .... wouldn't you know it's the one I have on ol '54 smuts up the spark plugs which means that after replacing plugs four times, I will change the carb. It is in beautiful condition (aesthetically), but I have absolutely no idea why it is a dud. Only thing I can imagine is the throttle body chamber.
I hope I'm in the correct forum.

I've sold two of mine as its getting harder to maintain stuff and health issues. To offer up parts just use the proper forum and things will run along smoothly. | | | | Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 1,576 back yard wrench turner | back yard wrench turner Joined: Sep 2010 Posts: 1,576 | Doc, I'm glad you're back. I was concerned when you dropped off the radar. I didn't hear back from you and didn't know what happened. Sorry you are selling off your hoard of stovebolt stuff. Glad to see you are still around these parts. HERE'S your first post in the Welcome Centre when you first joined back in 2020. Dan (Gdads51), the Moderator for the Swap Meet, will be happy to help you with details on any times you want to part with here on Stovebolt. I think he's already spotted you. Plus, we were just talking last night about gathering up the Florida Bolters and see what we can cook up. Looks like we need to shake a leg before you end up moving!

Sorry to hear you need to sell off your goodies. As Peggy mentioned, I will be glad to try and help you out with some ads in the Swap meet, whether for "donated sales" or just regular sales as you like. Anything I can do to try and help you find new Stovebolter' homes for your things. Drop me a PM as you can and let me know how I can help out with those ads. Best Regards, Dan
