Hello, First Stovebolt for me. Just happened onto her and couldn't resist her charm! Might be used for light farm duty. Could be a mobile stage for my band. Could be something to just enjoy working on, driving and showing off.
Runs great with all new ignition components but needs to have the master cylinder rebuilt before I can drive it much.
Have already found this site to be immeasurably helpful!
Thank you to all that have contributed over the years.

That is a great color and a nice area. I miss going to the Lentil Festival every year.
You might consider looking at a post by one of our members regarding ignition condensers. Even a lot of new parts can be prone to failure.
You interested in coming to the Firebird Swap Meet next month? I know a couple other members have expressed interest and I am going to be trying to set up a get together.
I think the majority of us would have had a hard time resisting the charm of your find. Congrats on your "new" truck, she's a looker!
I would have to say "all of the above" on possible "uses" for your truck - LOL!
Looking forward to future posts and conversations.

Welcome ! I like your truck ! Heck, take it to the park and have a picnic on the bed. I can imagine a lot of different possible uses. Drive and enjoy.

Rock Auto sells a Master Cylinder for your truck. I recently installed the same brand in my truck and it fit perfectly and is working fine. It was also cheap - $54. The one for your truck is $61.
I kept the old mc which was American made and intend to rebuild it. I figure the Dynamic Friction one will buy me some time.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and thank you Otto for the brake info. I picked up a rebuild kit for the master cyl from Napa, i don't have it apart yet to see how bad it looks on the inside. It has the 235 engine frogfarmer.
1962 C10 with a 235 6cyl -- all of the drive train seems to be original. Some of this story is in the Side Lot Some people like a new truck. I liked the old ones.

Too cool! Great looking truck (as others have mentioned).
Everything you mentioned is perfect for such a truck. At the the Annual Stovebolt Reunions in Kansas City, the local Club used a flat bed for a band stage. It just made sense.
Thanks for the kind remarks about the site. The Stovebolt Collective is here to help.
If you are interested, there a a bunch of farm trucks listed throughout the site. Using the Search link in the Menu on top of the page, you can put in "farm truck" and shazam, you'll see!
And the one that really stuck out for me, was your mention of "my band." We have a number of musical people in here. Another one that you could search, or feel free to post in the Greasy Spoon. They have been plenty who have mentioned their talent in making music. I can add to a discussion in there!
Welcome to Stovebolt.
