The reserve must be very high, because it's been on ebay, at least two other times, & didn't reach the reserve. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 58 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 58 | Hey Scott, a little rubbing compound and i think you are there ! How is the rebuild going on the 55 ? Hey Greg, I have to finish a fellow 'Bolters project that I'm building before the cab over gets to enter the shop. I have removed the bed and have been aquiring parts for it. I've located some of the missing glass and sheet metal and already have a rust free conventional cab to get some parts from too. I've got the donor truck with a 454 in it for the power train also. When I do finally get too it, I'll be more than ready, Scott | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 | hey spank. did ya ge the tow truck? never heard how that ended. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 58 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 58 | Scott, glad you are making progress. Don't know if you noticed but there is a guy on Ebay under the word "cabover" that is ostensibly selling a carb for $5. When you look he is really just advertising to sell other vehicles. In the background of his pisctures are several cabovers in your time frame. His phone number is in the ad. He might be a source for body parts. Good luck !

At the price he wants for it, by the time, & invest more $ in transport, swap what I want off of it, I'd probably not be able to re-coup, my money back from it. Thanks, for checking it out for me. That Holmes Wrecker Unit, would look great, on the back of your GMC COE. | | |
