It was a sleep t the last year, with occasional stints with yard work. I guess all the sweat (and bleach) got the last bit out of it. (Someone out there is talking about some generic Stovebolt t-shirts. We're not quit ready. John's got so many still. )

Lettering and design are super faded and only wear on special occasions these days.

So check out some new topics and please give us your thoughts. As for old t-shirts, I have a bunch of them and only wear them when we go out in warm weather. Never when working in the shop and not under another shirt. 1967 GMC 9500 Fire Ladder Truck"The Flag Pole"In the Stovebolt Gallery1946 2-Ton grain truck 1946 3/4-ton pickup, 1953 1-ton pickup 1957 1-ton flatbed dually, 1954 Pontiac Straight Eight Of all the things I've lost in my life, I miss my mind the most! | | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,065 Authorized Pest | | Authorized Pest Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 5,065 | The shirts that have stayed decent have been the golf type ones. (There's a purple and a maroon in there.) One thing that helped the Bolt t live longer has been those t shirts that American Classic gave away all those years. They were thin so fairly cool. Didn't last too long but Pete gave away plenty of them. Now that John is working for an excavator, man his clothes are bad. Tom Pryor sent John some of his company shirts and they are pretty ruggard. Since ours have gotten stained really badly, that's why I shoot for cheap ones. When they are nicer, they look nice but don't last around here much. I'll have to ask John to take a photo our the t-shirt quilt. It's a great way to save the logo at least. The quilts are from a variety of stuff, with different places we've lived and various things we engaged in. And girls' shirts in there, too. I'm working on quilts for the grand kids now. They have so much softball shirts. Good thing about making quilts, the backside gets repurposed for rags. Anyone remember the rag bag we gave to Dakota one year. And Cletis's wife, June, brought a Stovebolt t shirt quilt she made one year. These were the American Inn days.
