My Tow Truck made the cover of the July issue of American Towman Magazine!! A guy came up to me at a local car show last April and wanted to know if he could do a story on my Tow Truck and it happened! Even got Spanky in the piece, which he helped me a TON with his knowledge and parts! As did this site. Thanks guys!

Chris,
Congratulations on your truck’s appearance. It is a spectacular looking truck you know! I Googled the magazine and on the July cover displayed, they described it as a Holmes wrecker on a 47 Chevy?

We had an update of Chris's Holmes Wrecker COE on his Gallery page (2011). I was looking for some "before' pictures and I see there's a dead link going to the Bolt Bucket. I'll see if I can hunt that down today.

Very, very good story there and I like the way American Towman "flips the pages" for you. Makes it easy to find page 44!!! (Nice mag over all!)

Thanks Guys: This guy just walked up to me in April at a local car show and said you want your truck in a magazine. I said OK! In answer to it listed as a 47, I explained to Joe the truck is a 46 and the wrecker body and the wrecker it self is a 47 per serial numbers. I'm sure the truck sat in Tennessee waiting to get the wrecker mounted. Thus it was titled a 47. Thank for praise I don't deserve it.

Congrats. Nice looking truck.

You may be able to answer my question. What Gear Oil do I put in my Holmes 440?
