He checked and came back saying they may have one for the C/K series. I asked him if that was correct, and he said that's what they called them back then, since they didn't have names like Silverado, etc.
Is that right? Sounds to me like he's got it confused with a pickup. Maybe there is only one type resto kit, I guess I don't know for sure. There will be information covering all of the truck models.

I got a nice resto pack from Chevrolet specific to my '49 1.5-ton. Sounds like you talked to a new guy. Try again and see if you can talk to somebody else who knows what they're doing.

Has anyone else tried to get one for their 1-1/2 to 2 ton truck?? The guy doesn't know what he is talking about. I don't think the C/K designations started before the 60's. I have several restoration packs starting with 1947. They each cover all light and medium duty trucks.

There is a pack of info on specialty shops and GM licensees and there is a pack of information for PASSENGER CARS!!  Thanks khardy! That link shows that what I got it exactly the passenger car resto pack, not even close. I shoulda known. So, should I call back and get the truck set or just use the online info (print it out)?
